You cannot be mentally far from war, support our fighters always when possible - Presidential Appeal of Ukraine

I wish health, dear Ukrainians! Today, our National Guard celebrates its day, and it will be right if we all thank the National Guards together. For the National Guard, along with all our warriors, he powerfully beat Ukraine. Thank you for the strength and strength in the battle for the Donbas. For the defense of Bakhmut and Avdiivka. For the heroic protection of Mariupol and Azovstal. For fighting in Luhansk region. For fighting in the Kyiv region, for the battle for Kiev.

Along with all the defense and security forces of Ukraine, the Guards chased the occupier from the northern regions of our country, from Kharkiv region. They keep defense in the south, in the Zaporozhye direction. Separately, I want to thank for the onset of the offensive, which has already become an example of the model formation of new brigades for Ukrainian defense.

During the full -scale war, nearly 5,000 National Guards have been awarded state awards - it is for participation in battles, for bravery, for the sustainability, for the combat result, which is reached by the National Guard. 32 National Guard fighters were awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.

I thank all the Guards: soldiers, sergeants, officers, command! I thank all who help the National Guard units, who trains the fighters, provides them with everything they need, helps with treatment after injuries, with rehabilitation. The power of Ukraine is the power of all who fight for Ukraine and who helps the soldiers. And it is simply impossible to imagine our state force without the National Guard.

Today there was a meeting with the military - a special military meeting, a special range of participants. He also held meetings with intelligence. Defense, strengthening of our protection - both from the external threat and from internal threats. We are preparing our appropriate steps. Constantly, unchanged maximum attention - the situation on the forefront. The brutal battles that take our people's lives every day and require the unchanged mobilization of our state and society every day.

It is wrong, it is unfair when our fighters who come from the forefront have a feeling that for many, the war has already ended. For those who are not just far from Donetsk or Nikopol, from Saltovka, from the border areas of Sumy region, from Zaporozhye . . . And who is mentally far from trenches, from the daily pain of Ukrainians. Now, like a year ago, one cannot be mentally far from war, though thanks to our soldiers, real fighting is truly geographically far from many.

Now as a year ago, it is important that the most Ukrainians help protect the state, help accumulation of world support for our victory. Dear Ukrainians! Support our fighters always when possible. Do not forget about volunteers and join when you can. It is very important that everyone who has information influence participates in information. This applies not only to journalists. This applies to anyone who can spread the truth about aggression.

Who is able to remind the world of Ukrainians and Ukrainian women who have passed through occupation through losses . . . that Ukraine is fighting for freedom and justice for both our people and for all nations that are threatened by Russian tyranny. The world should be heard as intensively as last year that aggression against Ukraine is ongoing. He should hear that to end the war this year, to liberate Ukraine from Russian evil this year - this is a common task of the civilized world.

Because civilized means, in particular, the decisive to protect civilization. He met with goodwill Ambassador UNICEF Orlando Bloom and UNICEF team - an organization that deals with humanitarian support and protection of children. Orlando Bloom has long been working with this direction. He was already in Ukraine, in our Donbass, even before the full -scale war.

And he knows that this aggression has brought, how full -scale the efforts of the world should be to stop it to restore Ukraine after the war. We discussed the issue of reconstruction of our country, our school infrastructure. I am grateful for this help. We agreed that our teams work on several directions. In particular, this is the issue of the return of our children who were exported to Russia by the creation of bomb shelters for our children.

And the third is the technical support of distance learning in those areas and areas where it is impossible to study offline because of appropriate threats. Today, as always, I will celebrate our warriors, who gave a significant result to Ukraine for the last day, for this day, in general this week.
