"Isanders" and drones: a company from the USA whose details use Russians, never left the Russian Federation

The components of the American company Texas Instruments in Russia are used in the production of missiles, drones and radio stations. Despite the sanctions, the American company Texas Instruments continues to work in Russia, giving it the electronics needed for the production of missiles, "Economic Truth" reports.

In 2014, investigators of the Ukrainian Trap Aggressor project were recalled that the EU and the United States had imposed export restrictions on dual -use goods that can be used in military products. However, many Western companies find loopholes to continue to trade in the Russian market. Some of them simply ignored the sanctions and continued to help Russia prepare for a full -scale invasion of Ukraine. Even after February 24, the Russian army uses electronics of EU and the USA.

Some of these elements were made ten years ago, but not all. For example, the Iranian drones of Kamikadze Shahd-136 found processors of the American company Texas Instruments. The study of the Royal Institute of Joint Services (Rusi) in London describes in detail 318 components in Russian weapons from 57 US companies. Most of them are set by Analog Devices and Texas Instruments. The first of them announced departure from Russia in early March, the second - is in no hurry to tear with the Russians.

There is still an address of the Moscow Office and an active Russian phone number on the Texas Instruments website. The Rusi report describes 50 unique Texas Instruments, which are used for several Russian weapons. Digital signaling processors were found in Iskander missiles, CAN transcerer in the UABLA-Kamikadze electronic detonator, power control modules-in the Orlan-10 drone, audio codes and converters-in several radio stations.

Trap Aggressor analysts among the components of the Russian cruise missile "Iskander" have found 21 foreign details set by 11 European and American companies. Texas Instruments were the most components for Iskander. According to investigators, Texas Instruments have been working in Russia for almost 20 years: the distribution agreement was concluded in 2001. The company cooperated with the Russian Federation after 2014, when Ukraine asked for sanctions.

After the February invasion of Russia, the Reuters agency appealed to Texas Instruments to explain the presence of its electronic components in Russian weapons. The company ignored the request. Only in August, she stated that she had a "in -depth analysis" and found out that 36 parties of details from the company and 6 more from one of its authorized distributors were on the road, the components arrived in Russia at the end of February and at Russia early March.

The publication notes that the Russians themselves explained how American electronics falls in the Russian Federation after February 24: Texas Instruments they receive alternative channels. Trap Aggressor analysts have sent Texas Instruments a request to explain the presence of company details in Iranian drones, the presence of the Moscow office on the official website, the state and prospects of cooperation with Russia. The company ignored the request.

As it was reported earlier, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov stated that Iran could not produce the drones of Kamikadze Shahd-136 on its own, which Tehran handed Russia for war in Ukraine. Currently, Kyiv is being understood as Iran, while under sanctions, has been able to buy details of foreign production.
