"Not left unanswered": EU warned Lukashenko about the consequences of entering the war with Ukraine

The EU representative stressed that the further actions of Belarus to escalate the situation around Ukraine will mean new sanctions and restrictions for the republic. The European Union called on Belarus not to create a joint military group from the Russian Federation and to prohibit the use of its territory for missile strikes in Ukraine. Otherwise, the country is expecting responsibility for its actions, EU representative Peter said as a briefing in Brussels on October 10.

"We remind the Belarusian regime that a brutal and criminal attack is being carried out against Ukraine, which is contrary to the UN Charter," he said. The EU representative emphasized that the EU took into account the false accusations of Lukashenko's regime against Ukraine that our country was planning an attack against Belarus. He called these claims outrageous and unacceptable.

He also warned Belarus in the event that the republic continues to support the Russian Federation in the implementation of terror in Ukraine. "If this continues to continue, it will mean another direction of escalation and will not remain unanswered by the European Union. The answer . . . There will be new and severe restrictive measures from the EU," the EU representative stressed. Recall that Russia and Belarus are deploying a joint group of troops.
