Earlier, the Kommersant, with reference to the decision of the arbitration court of the Samara region, wrote that the owner of several shopping centers in Samara demanded from the Russian subsidiary Inditex "Zorya CIS" from the Russian subsidiary of the CIS "to compensate for damages due to closed stores. The court granted the petition. But the CIS star appealed this decision, saying that she plans to open stores again.
As it turned out, Inditex plans to transfer the Russian structure to a third company registered in jurisdiction, which the Russian authorities do not consider unfriendly. Inditex is currently signing additional agreements with Russian shopping centers to keep the areas involved in at least May 2023, the newspaper writes. Inditex, which had 500 stores in Russia by February 24, and the country's share reached 8. 5%, seemed to have found the third way with the new foreign owner.
