Thanks to the Ukrainian army, Bucha again turns into a cozy city with a gorgeous coniferous park and green streets. Residents of the city who did not leave their home and work told about the worst month in Bucha's history. And also about the restoration of the city, which was made possible by the efforts of defenders and defenders. The occupation when the war began, there was no water, gas, food in the city, pharmacies and shops did not work.
In order to somehow help the locals, a call center was organized in the Buchan City Council, which received calls from concerned citizens around the clock. Later, the call center had to be moved to the hospital, where the Buchans also issued medicine, hot food and helped to charge phones. However, the enemy did his best to stop it and break the spirit of the population. Subsequently, murders began to be talked about.
They killed people directly in the middle of the day, despite the fact that people were in civilian, they went with eggplants of water, with food, they went for medicine. Dmitry's second was shot when he and his son went for medicine for his mother. The son remained alive and was able to tell this horrible story. Unfortunately, there were many such stories. Someone was shot by snipers while he went out to look for food, someone was killed because he tried to leave the city.
The people who remained in the occupation, and such according to the calculations of the city council were about 3. 5 - 3. 7 thousand, were forced to adapt to a new reality: no benefits of civilization, no lighting after 16. 00, not to mention the street, no phones because the enemy's test could be worth life, constant cold and hunger, chaotic shelling and bodies of killed citizens directly in the middle of the once cozy streets. It was not easy with medical services.
Doctor Rostislav Solonko, despite the shelling and danger, remained in the occupied Bucha and assisted the residents of the community with the senior nurse. He recalls that in the first days there was the largest number of wounded in their hospital. Subsequently, the patients became less and less, as the Russians simply did not let people into medical establishments, it was impossible to provide assistance to the wounded, so people reached the hospital alone only 5-7 days after injury.
There was no light, the X -ray did not work, the Devodsky method had to do all this. The fractures were corrected, dislodges, wounds, made dressings. They tried to give people at least some help. Despite all the horrors, people kept together, helped each other and united against the enemy. How many we communicated with people, everyone supported each other, were tuned to victory, to destroy those who came here with the war.
After the occupation in the city, people are walking in the big park again, visiting cafes and shops, riding bicycles and scooters. 52,000 people lived in pre -war Bucha, and now about 70% of the population has returned to the city, and moreover - displaced persons are looking for shelter in the liberated city. As of the end of July, 5. 5 thousand internally displaced persons were registered with the local department of social policy, 211 of them with disabilities.
Two modular towns have been opened at the expense of the local budget, in which 51 families live, and three such buildings are plans. The city is gradually rebuilt, but there are many things: to disassemble, to repair networks, to bury enemy capons, to take out garbage. Due to the support of international humanitarian missions, Bucha is gradually replenishing the Park of Municipal Technology, destroyed by the occupiers.
The construction of a modern complex with the support of Hungary, which combines the CNAP, outpatient clinic and post office, should begin. Such an ambitious project in the Buchan Council dreamed before the war, but there was no opportunity. There will be many ambitious projects in the city from now on. The possibility of rebuilding free Bucha and other settlements destroyed by the Russians is the achievement of the Ukrainian military.
And to thank the defenders and defenders, join the movement through you. It is a national campaign that calls for greetings to veterans, military, rescuers, military and field doctors with a simple gesture - applied to the heart. It is the gesture, not the phrase or word, that is best suited to demonstrate respect and gratitude to our military, while overcoming the disadvantage of the demonstration of feelings.
