The Commander-in-Chief of the Alliance in Europe Christopher Cavoli stated that the scale of the Russian-Ukrainian war is "incredible", and the winner will be the one who will be able to produce weapons as soon as possible. After a full -scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost almost 200,000 soldiers killed and wounded, 1,800 of whom were officers. NATO Commander -in -Chief in Europe Christopher Cavoli told this, Spiegel reports.

According to him, the scale of this war is "incredible", and after the attack of the Russian Federation on the Alliance, it is necessary to adapt to "new reality". He also noted that 2,000 Russian tanks were destroyed on the battlefield. At the same time, the occupiers produce nearly 23,000 artillery shells daily. Cavoli stated that when NATO becomes difficult, "tough power" should be an argument. "If the other guy goes with the tank, you have to have a tank," he said.

He added that the Cold War Lesson is that the accuracy of weapons matters. The production capacity of the armory industry is also important. And the winner in the war is the one who can produce weapons as soon as possible, the commander -in -chief considers. At the same time, NATO General emphasized the importance of civil leadership. "From this conflict, we realized that civil leadership is absolutely necessary. It can mobilize the nation and inspire partners," the military said.

We will remind, on March 3, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexei Reznikov stated that Russia loses 500 soldiers daily only in the Bakhmut direction. According to him, in this area, Moscow uses "meat grinder", while the Ukrainian command saves its soldiers. On March 2, the General Staff reported that 150,000 Russian soldiers were eliminated during the full -scale war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the same period, the Russians lost 3 397 tanks, 6 658 armored vehicles and 300 aircraft.
