The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets agreed to exchange 40 prisoners of war during negotiations with Russian counterparts Tatiana Moskalkova in the capital of Turkey Ankara. On Wednesday, January 11, reports the British edition of Sky News.

"During the negotiations that lasted 40 minutes, (they) agreed to exchange 40 prisoners of war, but there is no more detailed information about this discussion yet," the publication said. According to media reports, Lubinets met with Moskalkova at an Ankara Hotel in the fields of the International Conference of Ombudsmen.

The Russian commissioner in her telegram-channel reported that during the negotiations there was a discussion of humanitarian assistance to citizens of Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
