See replenishment: Russia has exhausted Iranian drones - British intelligence

According to the department, the Russians are now running UAV from a new site in the Bryansk region. This allows them to reduce the time of stay of drones in the air, which will complicate the work of Ukrainian air defense. The armed forces of the Russian Federation have exhausted the reserves of shock drones Shahd-136 of Iranian production. This is stated in the report of the UK Ministry of Defense of March 1.

Thus, the British military noted that on February 27, 2023, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine confirmed that 11 of the 14 launched drones-Kamikadze Shahd-136 were shot down. At the same time, 9 of them were knocked down in the airspace of Kiev. Later, 3 more UAVs were shot down in the Chernivtsi region.

Prior to this, the Russians used the drones of "Shahid" on February 15, such a decrease in the pace of UAV attacks, probably indicating that Russia has exhausted its current stock: it is likely that it would look for replenishment, " - said the United Kingdom military. According to British intelligence, Shahid UAVs were most likely launched from the territory of the Bryansk region, as evidenced by the vector of the attack.

Earlier, from the middle of December last year, these drones launched from the Krasnodar region through the Azov Sea. The second platform for launch from the Bryansk region will allow the Russians to commit attacks on Kiev. According to the military Albion, this will reduce the time of finding drones-Kamikadze in the air, which will allow the occupation forces of the Russian Federation to stretch the Ukrainian air defense.

We will remind, the head of the Poltava Ova Dmitry Lunin informed that on the night against March 1, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked the territory of Ukraine of the UAV of Iranian production "Shahid". At least 5 drones were shot down in the Poltava region. Earlier, on the night of February 27, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked the Iranian Drone-Kamikadze city of Khmelnitsky, which killed two rescuers of the SES.
