Scholtz one and a half hours called Putin to finish the war against Ukraine and not worsen the situation around the ZPP

German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz, on Tuesday, September 13, spoke with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. According to the press service of the German government, the 90-minute conversation was dedicated to the war of Russia against Ukraine and its consequences. On September 7, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky communicated with Sholtz.

Video of the Day Scholz called Putin "to reach a diplomatic decision based on the cessation of fire, the full withdrawal of Russian troops and respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. " The German Chancellor also stressed that any further actions of the Kremlin on the annexation of the Ukrainian territories will not remain unanswered and will not be recognized in any circumstances.

Scholz urged the Russian dictator to adhere to international law when treating prisoners of war and providing access to the International Committee of the Red Cross. He also urged the aggressor country to avoid escalation of the situation around the Zaporizhzhya NPP and "to immediately follow the recommendations set out in the IAEA report.
