The successes of the Armed Forces on the battlefield can force the Russian Federation to withdraw troops from Transnistria - the Ambassador of Moldova

Valeru Kiver believes that the conflict of Transnistria and Moldova should be resolved exclusively with diplomatic way. The withdrawal of troops of the Russian Federation from the unrecognized Transnistria will depend on the success of Ukraine on the battlefield. This was stated in an interview with "Public" by the Ambassador of Moldova to Ukraine Valery Kiver.

The diplomat believes that the conflict of Moldova and Transnistria should be resolved through diplomatic talks, but not exactly by conducting hostilities in the territory. "So far, these are more political declarations and the desire to draw attention to the situation in the region, which is not quite calm," he said. At the same time, Valeru Kiver says he is well aware that the situation depends on a huge number of factors. In particular, a full -scale war in Ukraine plays an important role.

If the Armed Forces regularly succeed in the battlefield, it will accelerate the resolution of the Transnistrian conflict. "Thanks to the courage of Ukraine, we can hope that this process will go quickly enough in the near future," said the Ambassador of Moldova to Ukraine Valery Kiver. On March 1, Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the united coordination press center of southern Ukraine, said that the Armed Forces are ready for provocations from Transnistria, but there is no threat yet.
