The Ukrainian defense-industrial complex has created a high-precision ammunition...

The alder rocket. What is known about Ukrainian precision ammunition 300 mm

The Ukrainian defense-industrial complex has created a high-precision ammunition "Alder", which can strike at a distance of more than 100 km. In addition, work on the development of the version of 150 km is currently underway. Her test can happen during a counter -offensive. Even before the start of the full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation, several state -owned enterprises created a modernized RSSU on the basis of the Soviet "Hurricane" - RSSV "Alder".

The focus understood how they designed the car, which it was capable of, and whether it is used by the military. 15 enterprises of the defense-industrial complex, including from the KB "Luch" created the RSSV "Alder" with rockets of the same name. For the first time, the Alder project was announced in 2016 at a NSDC meeting. At the same time, it became known that KB "Luch" and KB "Southern" work on the project.

Under the name "Alder" they created not only a rocket, but also planned to make a rocket complex. For the first time, the details were kept secret, and with each stage of development they were revealed more and more. During the first trials on August 26, 2016, the then NSDC secretary, Alexander Turchynov, stated that the task of "alkali"-to exceed the characteristics of "tornado" and "dots-u". Ammunition caliber 300 mm. The rocket had to get the ability to destroy terrestrial or surface goals.

The developers made "alder" corrected ammunition. The GPS system and the Inertial System of INS were expected. Deviations from the target, as wrote in the media, did not exceed 7 meters. Over the next two years, the alder rocket has passed several test launches. And in November 2017, Artem Dakhk began to create a line for the production of rockets. Oleksandr Turchynov said that after a series of tests "alder" will be adopted and mass production of missiles will begin.

On April 25, 2018, after a series of successful launches in the Kherson region, the alder rocket was adopted. The first version of the alkali rocket had a maximum range up to 100 km, but immediately after adopting the arms, a more long-range version of the alder-M rocket with a maximum range of about 130 km began. It was also adopted and in 2019 the production of missiles began, but low -serving. The armament of "Vilkha-M" adopted in the 107th reactive artillery brigade of the Armed Forces.

The tests in December 2019 showed a circular deviation for a target less than 30 meters when firing more than 100 km. In the end, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Alder and the Alder-M were in the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The reactive installation is designed to defeat the equipment, the live power of the enemy, command points and other purposes.

The rocket of the complex received pulse engines along the ammunition, which allows to adjust the flight of ammunition and to achieve a minimal deviation from the given trajectory. On the basis of the purpose of guidance is by means of an inertial-satellite navigation system. Inertial engines are a forced measure, because in the first stage of launching the rocket it flies to adjust the course with aerodynamics. A total of 90 such engines are installed around the rocket.

There can be from 8 to 12 rockets in the starting unit, each of which can affect its own target. Or the shells can be programmed so that several rockets are hit by one object. The development of "altha" is more like a Western school of RSZV. All launching installations of jet artillery received by the Armed Forces from partners are designed to destroy specific goals, not to cover areas. This qualitatively distinguishes the "alder" from the Hurricane, on which it was originally built.

It should be noted separately that with the beginning of a full -scale war, work on "alder" did not stop. On September 11, 2022, Ukraine presented the Alder "Alder" on the basis of a new chassis in Poland. Instead of the Soviet chassis, MAZ is proposed to install a launcher on a new chassis with a wheel formula 8x8. In addition to this starting installation was protected by armored plates.

Already in February 2023, the first departments of the National Association of Defense and Industrial Complex Ivan Vinnyk in a comment for The War Zone stated that it was possible to establish the production of high-precision missiles "Alder". In addition, it is planned to create a modification of "alder-m" with a radius of action up to 150 km. The testing of shells, according to Vinnik, can happen during a counter -offensive.

In the first weeks of a full -scale war at the Kiev Design Bureau "Luch" reported that the Ukrainian RSSU "Alder" was involved in the reflection of the Russian invasion. As of March 3, about 50 accurate strikes were taken on Russian air defense systems, EW and enemy equipment. After that, the alder did not appear in the public space. The probable reason is that the Armed Forces had a small amount of high -precision missiles.
