In Lithuania, Russian propaganda TV channels that have fallen under sanctions are blocked

Prescribe says that administrative and criminal liability will be threatened for continuing speech, so providers have been called on to listen to the innovation. Internet providers will receive a mandatory instruction to remove IP addresses that have made such Russian propaganda TV channels: "NTV", "First Channel", "Russia 1", "Russia 24" and "RTR planet". The European Union sanctions were imposed against them.

"During the monitoring, it has been established that receiving data packages of prohibited TV channels is carried out using IP address servers, and with their help access to NTV, the first channel, the first channel, Russia 1, Russia 24 and "RTR planet", for which sanctions for the spread of misinformation and propaganda against the European Union and its Member States, "the material reads.

Electronic communication networks will be no more than five working days from the date of validity of the order to delete the possibility of access to the above TV channels. Violation of international sanctions entails administrative and criminal liability.
