According to the People's Deputy, the resolution mentions the term "genocide" and this is its first mention of Russia's actions in official documents of such a level. The resolution states that according to the rules of international law, compulsory deportation is a sign of genocide. It states that all cases should be investigated and involved - liable.
Goncharenko also reported that PACE approves the decision of the International Criminal Court on the arrest of President Vladimir Putin and the Children's Rights Commissioner Maria Lviv-Belova. "And this is one of the most important PACE decisions in this resolution. Not all PACE members are countries that have ratified the Roman Statute. And the adoption of this resolution is expanding the range of countries where Putin is officially considered suspected of war crimes," the People's Deputy said.
As he noted, today the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has confirmed that Putin was a military criminal in wanted. We will remind, on April 25 the South African Republic declared withdrawal from the International Criminal Court. Later, the office of the President of the country stated that the message was false and there were no plans.
