Hundreds of billions: Shmigal told how much Ukraine spent on defense after the Russian invasion (video)

According to the head of government, more than 40% of all that Ukraine spends from the state budget goes to the needs of the army. From the State Budget of Ukraine, more than UAH 400 billion was spent on defense after a full -scale invasion of Russia. This was stated by Prime Minister Denis Shmigal on his Telegram channel. "Since the beginning of the full -scale invasion of Russia, the state budget expenditures amounted to almost 1 trillion.

Of these, more than UAH 420 billion was spent on the defense and safety of our country. That is, more Head of Government. According to him, UAH 288 billion was allocated for salaries to the military, and UAH 135 billion for the purchase and repair of equipment, ammunition and other defense products.
