Russia is spreading the narrative about "Ukrainian saboteurs" in Crimea - CPD

The Center for Combating Misinformation at NSDC believes that Russia is spreading narratives about "Ukrainian saboteurs" in Crimea to strengthen the agent network on the peninsula and "cleaning" of the pro -Ukrainian part of the population. This is stated in the CPD message. After the explosions at military warehouses in the occupied Crimea on August 16, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that it was a matter for the hands of Ukrainian saboteurs who were not caught.

The CPD has identified the main provisions of propagandists' comments: the video of the day, so, according to the NSDC Center, the focus on the problem of saboteurs should lead to an increase in the number of FSB agents in the Crimea, strengthening checks on highways in the search for "sleeping agents of the SBU" and the detection of pro -Ukrainian Crimeans.

On the morning of Tuesday, August 16, explosions were reopened in the occupied Crimea again: a Russian military unit and ammunition were burning near the village of Azov, Dzovsky District, and a fire at the transformer station occurred in Dzhanka. There were also explosions at the military air base in the village of Guards Simferopol district. According to The New York Times, according to explosions in the Jankoy district of the occupied Crimea, there is an elite Ukrainian unit.
