By the summer: Denmark Head of the Ministry of Defense called the Deciners' Decisions Decisions for the Armed Forces

Western allies should discuss the supply of aircraft with Americans. No modern aircraft, which was asked for the Armed Forces, has not yet been provided, the media said. Western allies can transfer battle aircraft to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the summer after the departure of Soviet fighter jets by MiG-29 by Poland and Slovakia. This was stated on April 11 by Denmark Minister Troyels Lund Polesen following the visit to Kiev, he was quoted by Le Figaro.

It takes some time to discuss, as all countries have to act together. The decision remains achievable in the short term, the official said. "Denmark is not going to do it alone (send fighters to Kiev - ed. ). We will do it with several countries, so we need to have a dialogue with Americans," the minister said. The French newspaper emphasizes that no modern Western aircraft, which has been asked, has not yet been set.

Denmark has an American F-16 park in the amount of 43 pieces, 30 of them are in operation. These planes plan to replace 27 with new F-35, indicated in the material. During his visit to Ukraine, Polesen announced the supply of Leopard 1 tanks to the summer of this year. The Ukrainian military should send 100 units of military equipment. The Danish Defense Ministry states that Denmark and Norway are working on the transfer of 155 mm artillery shells to Ukraine.

Copenhagen has already provided military support to Kiev totaling more than 800 million euros, said in the department. We will remind that the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexei Reznikov told on April 4 about the benefits of Western aviation - such fighters will significantly increase the defense of the country. The Ukrainian command is constantly in contact with partners on the supply of aircraft, the minister said.
