And since February this year, even the remains of common sense were thrown into the trash.

If a century ago it was economically profitable for Russia to capture Ukrainian lands, now, in the 21st century, there is no rational sense and cannot be. Russia did not die from starvation until the beginning of the war. Russia was economically stronger than Ukraine, it had more banal money - oil and gas were well sold.

The whole world was afraid of the Russian army, Ukraine did not have the prospects for joining the EU and NATO in the short term - everything was quite good for Russia before the war. Now Russia has lost almost everything and continues to lose. Having received nothing from the war, she received a lot of problems that will lead it in the future. Therefore, from the point of view of rationality in Russia, there were no rational reasons to arrange war, massacre and genocide.

Does this mean that Russia has not started the war? No. She did it. She started a war she could not win. Completely splashing on rationality as a phenomenon. Therefore, the people who now tell the nations about some rationality of Russia, about "they will not go to it" and "they are unprofitable" - harm. Because they give Ukrainians illusion instead of bitter facts. And the facts are such that Russia is a crazy predator that itself dies from its rabies, but is capable of any nasty actions.

It's not about diet, it's about illness. Therefore, you should not calm yourself with a stable front, sanctions and prospects. We need to be prepared for everything, and we as a nation are adults enough to choose the truth, not sweet illusions. They can once again throw troops in Kyiv. They can proclaim mobilization and try to throw us with cannon meat. They can do any cruel and logical things that we cannot predict because we are in good sense and they are not.

Therefore, we must be ready for everything. We cannot relax. We have to develop the army and economy every day, to do everything to make the country stronger. We must constantly remind both of ourselves and the world around us: while Russia is nearby - all in danger. Yes, it's uncomfortable. It tenses. I really want to hide behind the idea that the worst is behind, the front line is stable and all the tests are complete. But we are strong. And the strong does not need illusions. The truth is strong.
