Two large Japanese companies decided to keep the shares in the Russian project Sakhalin-2

The Japanese companies Mitsubishi and Mitsui have decided to keep their shares in the Russian oil and gas project Sakhalin-2. The Japanese corporations of Mitsubishi and Mitsui, which had shares in the company-operator of the Russian oil and gas industry for the production of liquefied gas Sakhalin-2, decided to retain participation in the new enterprise-LLC Sakhalin energy. A video of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Chirokadz Matsuno said this, NHK reports.

“Mitsui & Co and Mitsubishi Corporation has officially agreed to participate in a new company. After that, the Russian government will decide whether or not to approve of participation. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and take all possible measures to ensure a stable supply of CPD, ”Matsuno said. Earlier, Mitsubishi has decided to keep her share in the SAKHIN-2 PSH-2 production project, Nikkei reported.
