The Chongar Bridge was best suited to supply troops from Crimea to Melitopol. No...

How does a blow to the Chongar Bridge on the logistics of the occupiers (map)

The Chongar Bridge was best suited to supply troops from Crimea to Melitopol. Now the occupiers will have to make a hook and go on the best roads. On the morning of June 22, it became known that both Chongar bridges on the administrative border with a temporarily occupied Crimea had a rocket strike. The Defense Express describes how the occupiers' logistics will now change. Crimea is connected to the mainland of Ukraine by several roads. One of the main and best is Chongar bridges.

There are two overpasses - one main, and the other was decommissioned and a backup. Both bridges suffered damage. The publication states that the damage received the supports of the bridge, but it is almost impossible to evaluate damage over limited photos. At the same time, the occupiers have already published the remains of Storm Shadow rocket on the place of arrival. If the blow was really applied by a rocket wing, then its battle part is 450 kg.

For the destruction of the bridge, it has two parts-cumulative, which punches the obstacle, as well as the main fragmentation. The highway E105, which passes from Crimea to Melitopol is the shortest way between two points. The bypass road to Melitopol will now be able to get through Armenian on the E97 and M-14. However, the occupiers themselves recognize that the bandwidth is much worse than the Chongar bridges, and the detour will also be 150 km.

And because of the worse logistics, it will be more difficult for the occupiers to supply their troops in the captured Melitopol. In the photo below, you can see how the occupied Dzhankoy can be reached to Melitopol: in the propaganda telegram-channel "Military Support" write that the Armed Forces can achieve serious problems in the logistics of the invaders. The same scenario was with the Antonov Bridge through Kherson, which led to the retreat of the invaders from the Ukrainian Regional Center.
