The United States has warned the Russian Federation about secret nuclear technologies at the Zaporozhye NPP - the media

Journalists claim that the United States helped to introduce new reactor maintenance procedures to strengthen Ukraine's energy security in 2021. At the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant there are American secret nuclear technologies and the United States warned Moscow so that it does not touch them. This is stated in a letter from the US Department of Energy, sent by the Russian state company Rosatom, writes CNN.

In a letter dated March 17, 2023, the Director of the Non -Publication Policy Department Andrea Farkile informed the CEO of the Russian State Company that the Zaporozhye NPPs in the Ukrainian Energy contains nuclear technical data, the export of which is controlled by the United States Government. The publication notes that the goods, software and technologies are subject to US export control when it is possible to use them in such a way that undermines the interests of US national security.

Although a physically power plant is still serviced by Ukrainian personnel, its management is carried out by "Rosatom". Therefore, the US Department of Energy has warned the Russian State Committee that the treatment of American technologies of any citizens or organizations of the Russian Federation is "illegal".

CNN notes that in June 2021, the Ministry of Energy Nuclear Power Office has publicly announced the support of the US NPP and stated that "the United States helped to introduce new maintenance and reactor maintenance procedures that should eventually strengthen the energy security of Ukraine.

We will remind, on April 14 the press service of "Energoatom" reported that the Russian military plan to block the staff of Zaporizhzhya NPP due to the lack of experts-atomic, as well as because of the threats of the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. On April 13, Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov stated that the ZPP was "protected by hunters and reindeer from Yakutia", and Russian invaders are preparing for eviction.
