The war is the quintessence of solid evil and cruelty. Nevertheless, the war all...

"We hid that I was a former military with ATO." History of love and rescue of spouses from Luhansk region

The war is the quintessence of solid evil and cruelty. Nevertheless, the war allows you to quickly realize one undeniable truth: you need to live and love here and now, without delaying "for later". Therefore, even in such conditions, when the whole familiar world is destroyed at the speed of the enemy rocket flight, there is a place for genuine love. This story is about it. Julia callous and Vlad working - the inhabitants of a small village in Luhansk region, which is now under Russian occupation.

Vlad is a former ATO, moving on a trolley. One day from the past changed the life of a man forever. "I served. I got a day off, went to swim on the lake, dived and broke his neck," Vlad recalls. Usually, life trials can cause the breakdown of couples, but not in this case: Julia and Vlad have been together for almost 6 years. The day of commencement of a full -scale invasion of Julia and the authorities is virtually indistinguishable from such stories of thousands of Ukrainian families.

"We slept when my wife called us and said," Julia, the war began, gathering things. "We thought that my mother dreamed something and then turned on the TV and understood everything," the husband says. But then the couple faced extraordinary difficulties. "Our village is near the border with Russia, about 40 kilometers, so the Russians came very quickly and occupied it in three days. At first, the connection disappeared in the village, and then the Internet - remembers Vlad.

- It was scary to leave, because I am on a wheelchair . Thought that it would all be gone, as in 2014, but did not miss. " The couple to the latter kept, but did not want to leave their native village. "We hoped that we would be released quickly, so they did not want to go to the last," the man says. But when the invaders already started walking in the houses, it became clear that it is no longer possible to stay, because it is extremely dangerous for life.

"The Russians came to me, because I was a former military. There was an interrogation, we asked where I served, checked the data. They knew where they came, what house, they knew that I was in the ATO. They knew everything. So in a couple of days we decided everything, In social networks they found a group, agreed with the carrier and decided to go, " - says Vlad.

But how do you go when your shoulders have experience in the ATO and mobility is limited to two wheels of a trolley? In addition, the man confesses that because of the injury and his hands, he almost does not work. With the slightest threat - neither escape nor escape. Still, Julia and Vlad decided to take a risk. "The parents took us to Starobilsk, and then we went with the carrier. We had to drive eleven checkpoints. We hid that I was an ATO.

Documents, where I am in the photo in military uniform, we were buried. If I saw, I do not even know how it would end, " - says the man. When the salvation seemed to be close, the unexpected happened. "On the twelfth checkpoint, which was the last, we were simply planted and said to walk. The driver tried to agree, said that he had a passenger on a trolley, and to go about 4 kilometers. But it didn't work out. Fortunately.

Fortunately, we were Not one of them, and people helped us carry things, "Vlad recalls. But in the end, the nervous evacuation under the muzzles of the Russian invaders for the couple ended successfully. Julia and Vlad moved to Lviv and already decided to marry there. "We planned for the New Year that we will get married in the summer. Then they got to Lviv and there a friend asked us why we haven't married? It is difficult, and day after day it is possible to register marriage.

Yulia and I were looking at: we go? We go? It always turns out, " - says the atove. Now Julia and Vlad are in Germany, where a man is examined after surgery on the spine. Vlad jokes that they perceive all family adventures with his wife as a honeymoon. "We are already going on the honeymoon. I am a former border guard, and I have never been abroad. And now I was in Poland and in Germany," the man explains.
