In Ukraine during the war, the production of cars increased significantly

At the moment, the only manufacturer of cars in Ukraine is the Transcarpathian Plant "Eurocar". Several Skoda models are collected there and their release volumes are increasing. Auto production in Ukraine began to gradually recover. In September, 408 cars were collected in our country. Such statistics are given by the Association "Ukravtoprom". All cars have been released by the Transcarpathian enterprise "Eurocar", other factories are not collected yet.

It is noteworthy that compared to August production increased 2. 8 times and even compared to September 2021, an increase of 20%was noted. We will remind, the enterprise "Eurocar" resumed work in June (before that there was a center for displaced persons). Currently, there are several Skoda - flagship Superb models, as well as Kodiaq and Karoq crossovers (other brand models are imported into Ukraine from the Czech Republic).

Recall that the capacity of the Transcarpathian enterprise allows to produce up to 80 thousand cars a year. In total, in the 9 months of 2022, 1515 cars were harvested in Ukraine. This is 56% less than in the same period last year. It should be noted that the production of trucks in Ukraine is also gradually recovering. Moreover, new manufacturers of commercial equipment are emerging. Focus also said that the production of new Tornado all -terrain vehicles started in Poltava.
