The situation has deteriorated: the occupiers began the connection of Zaporizhzhya NPP to the Russian power system

According to President Petro Kotin, Rosatom employees transferred to the object a program for reconnection of the station to the Crimea. The reason for this step is the official that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have recently damaged three out of four lines of communication with the NPP, which is why the risk of accident increased.

The occupation forces of the Russian Federation in Energodar began the process of connecting the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant to the power system of Russia through the temporarily occupied Crimea. On Tuesday, August 9, Petro Kotin, President of Energoatom, declared on the air of the All -Ukrainian Teleterna. According to the head of the company, the situation at the Zaporozhye NPP has worsened lately.

In particular, Rosatom employees transferred to the object the program for its reconciling to the Crimea. Kotin noted that the occupiers go to such a step because three of the four lines of communication of the NPP are damaged, so its power depends only on one of the lines - this can later lead to an accident. "To switch to the Crimea, you need to extinguish the whole station, extinguish the entire south of Ukraine - occupied parts of Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions . . .

After that, they begin to supply the nutrition of the region again from the substation in Dzhanka, gradually reaching Kakhovskaya, and then - power supply" Kotin said. The President of Energoatom noted that at the last stage of the NPP connection to the Ukrainian power system will be impossible. "This is their plan, and they began to implement it," he summarized.
