Anna's husband is now in Russian captivity. Video Day Yevgeny Atheyevsky worked on a documentary until mid -August and completed it before opening the festival in Venice. As well as a video from the archives of Ukrainian TV channels, the war that Russia started against Ukraine in 2014.
The film presented in Venice not only tells about the current war with the stories of survivors, but demonstrates how the events of that winter prompted Russian President Putin to capture Ukrainian Crimea and lead directly to hostilities that are ongoing now. These are the stories of Ukrainians - wars, mothers, children, journalists and volunteers. Their life has completely changed after the beginning of Russian military aggression.
