The compact device in the form of a suitcase captures the signals from the UAV at a distance of about 3 km. The soldiers have already tried it and were satisfied, the developers assure. Inventors from Rivne region have launched the production of devices that will help the Ukrainian military to notice Russian drones in a timely manner. They told the details of the Freedom TV channel. The Russians use remote control drones to drop ammunition from Ukrainians.

The team of engineers under the leadership of Sergei Titkov decided to protect the defenders of Ukraine from such a threat with the help of a compact UAV detector. It captures the control signals in the frequency range from 2400 to 2525 MHz at a distance of about 3 km from the UAV and sounds alarm. "All" Maviki "and other brands of drones, which are now used on the forefront for reset, so to speak," gifts "will see, will be seen and signal our appliance," - explained Sergei Titkov.

The complex consists of a directional antenna, a control unit for processing control signals and a power source. The device in the form of a compact "suitcase" with a handle weighing less than 1 kg, a small display and several control buttons. The detector can be installed on a tripod trinom to conveniently direct the way away from where the Russian drone can arrive. The body of the apparatus is waterproof, so it can be used in any weather.

"I recommend taking a few immediately so that you understand which side will fly the drone. You are watching where the machine is directed, you are watching the other side or hiding better," - advised the head of the technical department Alexander Polishchuk. Another developer Dmitry Renzhin added that recently the team protested the detector along with the military, the latter responded positively about the invention.

In addition, the device was inspected from the Ministry of Defense, which allowed to start production. The Ukrainian product is much cheaper than foreign analogues, and now engineers are working on a more compact version of the detector size with the size of a radio. Earlier, Ukrainian Dmitry Selin developed his system to identify Russian drones. The first prototype of the device on the battery is already tested on the front. Mobile drone detectors are also created in Russia.
