The GMLRS missile test was not 59 km away. Test shooting confirmed the flight trajectory, the range and accuracy of the rocket. The rocket was also tested by the Stockpile to Target Sequance (from storage to the target). The maximum range, according to Lockheed, is approximately 150 km. Last May, the missile flight was shown at a distance of 135 km. The current test stage is the next step towards the serial production of ER GMLRS missiles.
It is noted that Lockheed Martin has produced over 60,000 GMLRS missiles of the current generation. They are also currently undergoing a 9,000 missile supply contract for the US Army and other clients in the world. The available missiles in the M30A1 version affect almost 84 km. Recall that in the United States ordered a party of PRSM missiles, which will be able to strike targets at a distance of up to 500 km. It will replace the ATACMS rocket.
