As it became known a little later, the State Flag of Ukraine was raised about the beginning of the next session of the inter -parliamentary Assembly of the CIS countries. The Ukrainian flag of majors next to the flag of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the state flags of Uzbekistan, Moldova and the Russian Federation.
It should be noted that Ukraine did not sign the CIS Statute of January 22, 1993, that is, de jure was not a Member State or even the State Party State, but only a founding state. Ukraine did not sign agreements on associate membership in accordance with the CIS Statute. In addition, on May 19, 2018, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed a decree on the final termination of Ukraine's participation in the CIS authorized bodies.
At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated the actual completion of the process of exit of Ukraine from the CIS. However, in spite of these facts, as well as in the Russian-Ukrainian war, the State Flag of Ukraine was raised to the flagship together with the flags of other member states of the Commonwealth. We will remind, on March 9 in Bulgaria the politician dropped the flag of Ukraine from the balcony.
