"Hope on the Armed Forces": Energoatom's head told how to return control of the ZPP

According to Peter Kotin, the creation of the so -called security zone around the NPP is impossible and the only chance to restore control of the station is to resort to the power scenario. The only realistic way to return the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant under the control of Ukraine is to deduct it through the Armed Forces. This opinion was expressed by the head of "Energoatom" Petro Kotin in an interview with Bloomberg.

According to him, Ukraine has a force to regain control of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, since the creation of a security zone at the station is not realistic. "We do not think it is (creating a security zone - ed. ) Realistically. The New Year has come and there is no creation of this zone," Kotin commented. He specified that the only reliable way to bring the NPP from the control of the Russian invaders is to resort to a power scenario that the Ukrainian military is being implemented.

"We hope most of the Ukrainian Armed Forces," the head of Energoatom summarized. At the end of December 2022, the Ministry of Energy spoke about the cunning plans of the Russian Federation on Zaporizhzhya NPP. According to the Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko, Russia proposes to replace military armed forces with Rosgvardians. However, in the understanding of Ukraine, demilitarization is a complete withdrawal of all occupiers, including Rosatom representatives.
