Russian neo-Nazi "Rusich" collect intelligence on NATO member states-The Guardian

The group that participates in the war against Ukraine asks to send information about border positions and move the Alliance in the Baltic States. The neo -Nazi paramilitary "Rusich" group, associated with the Kremlin, asked its members to provide intelligence on border strengthening and movement of military in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, which caused anxiety about whether the Russian NATO attacks are planning. About it writes The Guardian.

Last week, the official Telegram-channel of a group, which is already fighting the Armed Forces in Ukraine and connected with the infamous Wagner group, appealed to his followers to send detailed information about border posts and military movements in three Baltic countries that had previously been included To the Soviet Union, a post, which was reviewed by more than 60,000 users, requested information about military units with specific references to military data, their positions, their occupations, military relatives and their personal transport.

The post also requires information about the movement of patrols, the location of border posts, surveillance systems and vehicles. Similarly, information about the border communication towers, as well as the coordinates of fuel and safety systems in border areas. This news raised the question of who generally commands the extremely right -wing pro -Kremlin groups fighting in Ukraine.

The Rusich group is closely linked to the Wagner group, a military unit, which is governed by Vladimir Putin's close ally and now heads the Russian offensive aimed at capturing the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut, where the most fierce confrontation between the Armed Forces and the Armed Forces is ongoing.

Sources on the conditions of anonymity have stated that the "unusual" step of grouping "Rusich" can indicate disappointment in the official Kremlin and dissatisfaction with how Putin's war is going in Ukraine. They added that the Kremlin may lose control of its extremely right Russian paramilitary organizations that can use more extreme methods for warfare, which causes fears that there will be an escalation of conflict and an attack on NATO member states.

However, the sources added that the Kremlin's direct participation is unlikely, since its intelligence undoubtedly already has in intelligence data on military and border activities in the Baltic States. The source said, "Does this indicate this inside the Russian system? . Recent reports show that some paramilitary groups, such as Wagner Group, founded by Putin's friend Yevgeny Prigogin, already have considerable autonomy and the same access to the Russian President as official officials.

Although the interaction between "Rusich" and the online channels related to the Wagner Group has been recently documented, it remains unclear how "Rusich" is subordinated to "Wagner" or even the Ministry of Defense of Russia. "Rusich" positions itself as a sabotage and assault intelligence group (DSRG). They "became famous" during the war in Syria and during the annexation of Crimea in 2014. The US Ministry of Finance announced in September, which imposes sanctions against Rusich.
