NATO's five countries agree that Ukraine can join the Alliance by the end of the war - a survey

Against the backdrop of this citizen of Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands and the USA, they decided to interview what actions they expect from the Alliance on the results of this summit. NATO's five countries support Ukraine that Ukraine is part of the Alliance, despite the fact that the war with Russia is ongoing. This is evidenced by the Kantar survey data, which was commissioned by the New Europe Center.

These are France, Germany, the United States of America, the Netherlands and Italy. Interviewed in these countries believe that the process of Ukraine's accession to NATO can be started now. Against the backdrop of this citizen, 5 countries that are part of the defense bloc have decided to interview what actions they expect from the Alliance on the results of this summit.

The survey states that the two most popular answers are "to invite Ukraine to become a member of NATO, despite the war with the Russian Federation", as well as "invite Ukraine to become a member of NATO with actual accession after the end of the war. " It is reported that these two options support from 50 to 56% of the surveyed citizens of the European Union. However, in the United States, 70% of those polled voted for these options.

The study also states that the greatest resistance to Ukraine's accession to the Alliance was expressed by residents of Germany, but at 22%. The least of these sentiment is prone to US residents - 12%. In France, 17% of the respondents hold this opinion, 19%, and the Netherlands - 16%, in addition, the survey has an answer "Wait for an invitation until the war with the Russian Federation".

This answer was chosen by 29% of the Netherlands, 19% of respondents in the United States, 27% in France, 22% in Germany, 28% in Italy. It is noted that the respondents were able to choose several answers at once. The survey also says that 40% of French citizens, 57% of Germany citizens, 39% of respondents from Italy, 48% of Italy surveyed and 32% of Americans believe that the main condition for providing long -term peace in Ukraine is a change in political regime in Russian Federation.
