Odesa and Lviv go to Europe. As Russia's failures can become an economic breakthrough in Ukraine

The "geographical curse" of Ukraine, located on the fault of civilizations, can become its geographical bonus as a result of war. Economist Alexei Kush is reflected in future transit routes without Russia's participation. A new global transport strategy for Ukraine - or not all lost about logistics potential.

How to transform it into geographical potential? How to become a Hab country again, a country country? How to form 15-20% of GDP due to logistical transit potential? It seemed that Russia in the east expelled our geopolitical transitivity. But not everything is so bad. War is not only a crisis, but also new opportunities. Having tied up in the war against Ukrainians, the Russian Federation significantly undermined its position in Central Asia and the Caucasus.

At the peak of its geopolitical power, Russia was in January 2022, when it introduced its troops to Kazakhstan, as once in the USSR to Afghanistan - "at the request of the leadership of the Fraternal Republic. " Further only from the slide. China actually "haunted" Central Asia from the system of regional influence of the Russian Federation. Now the turn has come to the Caucasus: Armenia declares a peace agreement with Azerbaijan and about the possible exit from the CDU.

China launches an alternative route of a new Silk Road bypassing Russia through Pakistan, Iran and Turkey. Central Asia and Iran countries form their project - a transport railway around the Caspian Sea. The United States, together with Britain, plan an Indian alternative to the Chinese Silk Road: from Mumbai to Bender-Abbas in the Gulf and further to Turkey.

Turkey becomes a nodal hub of all three projects: the Chinese new silk route, the Indian commodity route to the EU and the ring around the Caspian. It is possible that some of the streams through Bulgaria and Romania will go to Ukraine. Ukraine needs to create two hubs - in Odesa region - receiving goods from Asia and sending them to the EU, as well as back from our country to Asia.
