More than 50,000 soldiers and 5,000 pieces of equipment will participate in the maneuvers. The event is of concern to their participation in neutral India. In Russia, strategic command and staff exercises "East-2022" have begun, which will involve more than 50,000 military and 5,000 weapons and equipment. About it reports DW. On September 1, large exercises began in the Russian Federation, covering 7 military landfills of the Eastern Military District and the Okhotsk and Japanese seas.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, 140 aircraft, 60 warships, boats and security ships will be involved in maneuvers. The deployment of the Pacific Fleet ships has now begun to solve the problems of organizing anti -ship, anti -air and prototic defense in the Japanese Sea and east of Kamchatka.

According to the script of exercises in the water area of the Japanese Sea of the Navy and China, joint practical actions in the defense of maritime communications and areas of marine economic activity will be carried out. In addition, actions will be worked out to defeat the ships and the forces of the marine assault opponent. Missiles and artillery are used to do this. The maneuvers are monitored by experts of the CDU, the Shanghai Organization of Cooperation and other countries.

The training will end on September 7. It is noted that China and India, which adheres to neutrality in the Russian Federation against Ukraine, will take part in the exercises. It is India's involvement that pays special attention to the event. Despite neutrality, India receives a large number of weapons from the Russian Federation, although in parallel it is a part of the Indian-Pacific Alliance from the United States, Japan and Australia.

Therefore, the States have expressed concern about the participation of India in the training of the Kremlin's invasion of Ukraine. At the same time, China retains partnerships and friendly relations with the Russian Federation despite the war. China has not yet condemned the actions of the Russian Federation. In recent years, both countries have conducted a number of joint exercises. President Putin does not reject the possibility of forming a military alliance from the PRC.
