Vodka, brandy and cognac in Russia will rise significantly on the first day of 2023. The reason - the cost of alcohol is negatively influenced by the introduced external trade and financial restrictions. In Russia, they intend to increase the minimum prices for some types of alcoholic beverages. The corresponding decree was published on the website of the Russian Ministry of Finance.

Thus, from January 1, 2023, prices for strong alcoholic beverages in Russia will be as follows: the price for a liter of ethyl alcohol produced from food raw materials will increase from 63 to 68 rubles per liter. It is noted that the rise in price of alcoholic beverages occurs due to inflation in 5. 5% in 2023. The Ministry of Finance also indicated an increase in the cost of alcohol production - utilities, wages, logistics, increasing the cost of raw materials for alcohol production.

As early as 2022, the cost of alcohol was negatively influenced by the introduced external trade and financial restrictions, problems with the import of equipment, components and consumables. According to the results of six months of 2022, the import of all strong drinks from abroad to Russia decreased by almost 35%. For example: Imports of champagne stopped completely.

Against this background, the purchase prices for imported alcohol have increased by 27-40%since February, and for positions - by 70%. We will remind, the Russian media reported that the country is widely spreading recipes for the preparation of tincture on dead moles called "mole". Entrepreneur from Moscow Anton Semenov even filed an application for registration of the Krotovukh brand.
