The leading Ukrainian choreographer presented the premiere show

From the military parade - to the cradle! The image of Ukraine after winning the premiere show Board of Poklitar (Photo)

The leading Ukrainian choreographer presented the premiere show "Tomorrow" about the future of Ukraine and restored the production "up the river", set before the war. Double premiere of the Poklitar Council in ICCM (October Palace). The master managed to "restart" his pre -war ballet "up the river" and present the public completely new - "tomorrow". The first place in the "mysterious history of Benjamin Button" Francis Fitzgerald.

Through the efforts of the pattern, it is processed into a modern version of "Faust". The old man concludes with the devil an agreement that he will be younger, and then there is a lot of adventures on his / her trip to the opposite direction - to the cradle. "Tomorrow" is a free fantasy of the master on the theme of the Ukrainian people. Two dozen dancers in yellow-orange suits depicted the people as one organism: multi-handed, multi-legged, many.

The "people" did everything in a single impulse: from the military parade to the shaking of the child. The focus is shared by the details of the grand show. The first show ballet is in blue and purple. The second is dominated by yellow-orange. Together - a Ukrainian flag, a choreographer with this double premiere seems to say: his case lives and lasts at home.

Many ballet artists are known to have left the war, but the pattern is not only able to restore old performances, but also to publish a fresh product with the updated Kyiv Modern-Ballet. Poklitarum proved to be in these premieres on the unexpected side. There are no grand scenery here, as in "Swan Lake" and "Nutcracker". Here is a minimalism plus the synchronicity and expression of dancers. But the main weapon of the master - metaphors and transformation - are present as always.

First about the first performance. Everyone remembers David Fincher's movie "The Mysterious History of Benjamin Batton" (2008) with Brad Pitt and his incredible makeup, when he gradually turned into a baby with his grandfather - for which the authors received Oscar. The film was made according to Fitzgerald's story, published in 1922. He is said to have taken the idea from Mark Twain's phrase: "Life would be much more interesting if we were born old and constantly young.

" The hero is born a 70-year-old, who is able to talk, and then younger, until he is in childhood. We have not seen from the movie or the story of this paradox. He invented a mystical prehistory: the old man at the coffin concludes a contract with the devil (a man in black), that he will get a second life, but - back in advance. Paying is probably a soul.

On the back of the scene - a huge clock moving in the opposite direction, as in the row of Boris Grebenshchikov: "It may happen that the clock arrows will rotate back. " The hero has a beautiful wife, a daughter is born - he fun with them on stage. Soon he will also lead a mistress, in no way refusing. He detaches full, returning to the past, but according to all his adventures, the devil is watching his time, waiting for his time.

The wife was old and worried under the burden of years, her daughter grew up and left, the mistress disappeared. The loved ones begin to disappear around our hero. He becomes a boy, and a man in black is getting closer to him. And here, probably, the most moving moment of the show: the devil grabbed the boy and began to move him horizontally, in parallel with the stage, as if accelerating the inevitable end.

And then he twisted him as a clock arrow - violin (music by Ukrainian composer Alexander Rodin) sang. Here's the main character - swollen the thoracic infant in the hands of the devil. The man in the black shakes the diapers, from where the dust is poured out, hanging in the air with a gray cloud. Finita la… When we saw this attempt to turn back, our northern neighbors mentioned.

It is an absurd desire to return the Soviet past, to recreate the USSR-as if a crazy attempt to return his childhood (half of the Russian film sites tells news of 40 years ago, as Gaidai quarreled with Morgunov), which can end with nothing more than a fatal result. And Ukraine has pushed time with its powerful resistance and counterattack - forward! And about it-the show ballet "Tomorrow". "We are now living in a difficult time.

It is difficult to find a topic that would be in harmony with emotionally because the whole Ukrainian people are experiencing. And is it necessary to look for it?" - the master in the preselizes wondered. But in fact he found this topic and presented - to the music of Frederick Chopin. This topic is unity. Dancers in yellow-orange costumes made dozens of fascinating synchronous movements, then they are all together. So together they pump the baby in the cradle. So together they build a pyramid.

So together they mince a step in the military march. Then, raising their hands, the rays of light are saturated and then from where the rope stairs fall from above and the artists rise above, to heaven, sun, dreams. We will stand, sustain, win and build our sunny world! As for the technique of Poklitar, he was surprised by the fact that, on the one hand, his Kyiv Modern-Ballet took a lot from Dutch Nederlands Dans Theater-this is the synchronous movement of dozens of people.
