The German Chancellor expresses confidence in Putin's desire to capture neighboring territories, so he insists on the need to conduct specific discussions on how to ensure the security of Ukraine after the defeat of Russia. German Chancellor Olaf Soltz expressed the need to discuss Ukraine's security guarantees after the war. He stated this on Wednesday, June 14, DW reports. Chancellor noted that it is important to be ready to ensure security after the war. However, he stressed that it is impossible to "freeze the war and legitimize the Russian admiration. " Chancellor called Russia's war against Ukraine a turning point and stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin has plans for the absorption of neighboring territories, including Ukraine and Belarus.

"That is why it is as important for us to support Ukraine, which is so important that we have a very specific conversation about security guarantees. And that is why it is important to clearly state that we will support Ukraine as much as we will need and that we will not agree to imposed world. It is reported that as an example of support, German Chancellor mentioned the repair of the weapons supplied to Kiev, including the creation of repair centers in Romania, Slovakia and Poland.

We will remind, on June 14, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on the eve of the meeting of the Defense Ministers of the Alliance stated that NATO countries will give a clear signal to Ukraine at the nearest summit. Earlier, on June 1, the UK Prime Minister Risha Sunnak stated that Ukraine should become a full member of NATO in the future.
