The delegation of Africa leaders has prepared peaceful proposals for Putin and Zelensky - the media

A document with recommendations on "strengthening trust" and the first steps towards ceasefire in Ukraine came into the hands of the media. According to media, Africa's representatives seek to meet with the presidents of both states of conflict. African leaders plan to propose "trust strengthening measures" between Russia and Ukraine. Reuters journalists, which is discussed in the material of June 15, were accessed by the relevant document.

Proposals for "strengthening trust" between the parties to the conflict, according to the publication, will be the beginning of the mediating efforts of Africa leaders. It is a delegation headed by President of Senegal Maci Sall and the President of the South African Republic of Matamel Siril Ramafos. In addition to them, according to the media, there are leaders of Zambia and the Komorial Islands, as well as the Prime Minister of Egypt.

"It is expected that they will meet with President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin," the media said. Journalists conveyed the content of a document prepared by Africa leaders.

According to them, there is a list of recommended measures for the first stage of interaction between countries - withdrawal of Russian troops, the removal of nuclear weapons from Belarus, the suspension of the ICS warrant at the arrest of Putin, the weakening of sanctions and the "unconditional agreement on grain and fertilizers".

"The above measures should be aimed at facilitating the creation of an environment that will be favorable for ceasefire, which will allow the parties to strengthen trust and consider formulating their strategies for peace restoration," journalists quote the document of African delegation.

According to the media, in addition to concluding an agreement on termination of hostilities in the territory of Ukraine, Africa leaders consider the necessary negotiations between the Russian Federation and Western countries. The material emphasized that Africa countries were severely affected by the consequences of the war in Ukraine, in particular, from problems with the supply of grain and other food products, as well as increased inflation of food prices.

We will remind, on June 3, the Minister of Defense of Indonesia Prabovo Subianto presented his own plan of peaceful settlement of the conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. He proposed, in particular, to hold new referendums in "controversial territories". The Foreign Ministry criticized Indonesia's peace plan, emphasizing that the "controversial" land was occupied. Earlier, on May 24, the Kremlin spoke about negotiations with Ukraine.
