Dream on the right: to protect the plane from the destruction of Russian troops hindered by Antonov's employees

The officials of the state enterprise "Antonov" ignored the reservations of the authorities about the danger of destruction of the An-225 "Dream" aircraft, some employees of the company prevented the Ukrainian military organizing the protection of the aerodrome in the Gostomel of the Kiev region, where the aircraft was located. The investigation was reached, the Press Center of the Security Service of Ukraine said on Tuesday, October 18.

"Officials (SE" Antonov "), despite the reservations of state bodies, did not take proper measures to preserve the aircraft . . . Some employees of the enterprise have long prevented the forces of defense in the organization of air and terrestrial protection of the airfield (in Gostomel)," - said in the SBU.

Also during the investigation, law enforcement officers found that the former Director of Antonov illegally transported the Ukrainians of conscript age abroad against the background of mobilization. According to the investigation, in March, the official submitted to the State Border Service a list of employees who went abroad for maintenance of aircraft, but a business trip included unauthorized persons, including a close relative of the then director of Antonov.

According to this fact, the exterior has already been informed of suspicion of the Article of the Criminal Code on the illegal transfer of persons across the state border of Ukraine (Part 2 of Article 332). The investigation into the destruction of the An-225 "Dream" is ongoing. We will remind, on February 27, as a result of the attack on Gostomel, the largest aircraft in the world An-225 "Dream" burned. After the 5th aircraft, the invaders were fully dreamed.

The aircraft was located at Gostomel Airport since February 5. On March 18, crew commander Dmitry Antonov said that the aircraft could be rescued, overtaking it to a safe place. However, the leadership of the Antonov concern did not do it. At the end of March, the authority of the Director General of SE "Antonov" Sergey Bychkov was removed from the activity during the investigation. In early April, it became known that the State Concern "Ukroboronprom" finally released Bychkov from his post.
