The Council approved the Voluntary Military Accounting of Women in First Reading

The Verkhovna Rada in the first reading supported the bill on voluntary military accounting of women № 6482. This was reported by the MP from the party Voice Yaroslav Zheleznyak on Telegram. The bill was supported by 267 deputies. Zheleznyak writes that according to the new wording of the article, women can be taken on military accounting at their own request. At the same time, women who have a specialty or profession related to medical activities are required.

Video Day The Law will be prepared for the second reading according to the abbreviated procedure, added Zheleznyak. According to the current legislation, from October 1, 2022, representatives of some professions and specialties were to be registered (does not mean mobilization). This is provided by the Defense Ministry No. 313, but they want to change the rules.
