The same people: the Russian Federation organizes fake protests against Ukraine in the EU (photo)

According to journalists' investigation, fake protesters in different EU cities attend demonstrations on different topics. In doing so, they show the same posters with the same spelling mistakes. Russia organizes counterfeit protests against military support for Ukraine in European cities. The same fake protesters are involved in actions in different European cities to give the impression of protest mass against Ukraine, the Dan Dri DR.

In cooperation with other European media, the Danish TV channel found false protesters in ten protests that took place between December and March in Hague, Paris, Brussels and Madrid. Interestingly, the posters contain the same spelling mistakes. It is noted that the same person was holding a poster against the supply of weapons to Ukraine on a climate protest in the Hague in January and in protest of medical workers, which took place in Brussels on February 14.

It falls into the eyes that fake protesters show posters against providing military assistance to Ukraine at actions that are gathering in connection with completely different topics. "It has become more widespread that large demonstrations in Europe are used by Russia for short -term operations," says Seren Liborius Chief Consultant from the Joint EU Diplomatic Service, which deals with Russian propaganda and misinformation.

According to the TV channel, the leakage of documents from Russian intelligence services shows that counterfeit protests are aimed at creating a split in Europe because of the war in Ukraine. Photos of false protests are spread on social networks. Journalists contacted several men identified on protests, but they refused comments. We will remind, on April 21 the media reported that supporters of Vladimir Putin were purchasing Google advertising in Moldova, which urges to overthrow the government.

This is not the first time the Moldovan government has to deal with misinformation on the Internet. So, in March, the social network Facebook was filled with paid advertising for the destabilization of Russia supported by Russia. On March 30, in the Austrian Parliament, during a video broadcast of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the FPö faction expressed its protest, leaving the premises during the leader's speech.
