Liability burden: who and what did you do during the occupation and why they do not need to be condemned

"Today, I know, fierce disputes about occupation are ongoing. Many are uncompromising condemn those few who in the first days of the war, when the Russians surrounded the village, represented power or simply took responsibility for themselves and did something. Opinion. A year ago, on March 31, Maxim Kasyanov and I were the first to enter the colonshchyna, as we promised. It was not necessary to release the village: the Russians had already left, but then it was not obvious.

They moved from Motyzhyn through Dobropark on the Zhytomyr highway together with the National Guard. Our small voluntary detachment led air and ground reconnaissance and literally dragged the infantry with the old Beter. The Guards stopped on the route, and then - in no way: there is no order. We borrowed Better, and under his cover we reached the nearest gas station, from where Berezivka was visible. Further themselves - by letting the copter, traveling the terrain.

The first of the local locals raised their hands up and could not believe that we were not Russians and now we should not be afraid of armed people. In the villages it was deserted, the inhabitants were hiding and only evil boys on bicycles fearlessly swept through the streets. In general, the solemn meeting did not work. It was sad to see desolation, destruction, animal fear in the eyes of people who survived the occupation.

It was unfortunate that it was not possible to catch up with and grind parts of the enemy who retreated. When they returned, they almost came under the "friendly" fire of the guards who still reached the Colons, dug on the outskirts of the village and accepted us dressed in anything, for a detachment of the Russians. Today in the Colons, I know, fierce disputes about occupation are ongoing.

Many uncompromisingly condemn those few who in the early days of the war, when the Russians surrounded the village, represented power or simply took responsibility and did something. Do not rush to condemn. I was in a village that was actually surrounded at the time. There were only a few machine guns in the whole area, with a dozen simple races, Terrobron acted exclusively on a voluntary basis, the authorities were represented by those who wanted to do it. Obviously, everything was done.

But in the absence of electricity, communication and pre -prepared people, the organization of the village was reduced to an elementary struggle for survival. Not up to fat. At the same time, thanks to those who represented at least some power, thanks to the boys who stood in the posts, thanks to all the indifferent residents of the village and the nearby villages (Berezivka, Mykolaivka, Maryanivka, etc.
