The military is currently holding the southwestern areas of the city. Due to the strong shelling from residential buildings in Bakhmut there is almost nothing left. The military of the 93rd Brigade of the Armed Forces "Cold Yar" showed how the city of Bakhmut has now looks, for which heavy battles have been going on for several months. Photos were posted on the official team of the brigade on Facebook. The military wrote that the southwestern areas of the city are currently being held.

"Some positions have already been changed, but the enemy still has not been able to capture the city completely for 9 months," the post on the team on the social network reads. The photos published by the press service of the brigade shows how the Russian military destroyed the city in nine months of continuous battles. There are a lot of green in Bakhmut now. But multi -storey buildings are almost all destroyed. On the lower floors the windows were most affected.

They either have double -glazed windows, or there are no frames at all. The upper floors suffer from shelling. The shells leave gaping holes in the brick and reinforced concrete walls. Many apartments have fires that no one extinguish. Therefore, apartment buildings are also very buried on the outside. There is virtually nothing left of the ordered adjoining territories. Small grocery stores that were accessible to residents of a neighborhood were destroyed.

We will remind, on April 29 the General Staff of the Armed Forces published a morning report on the course of hostilities, informed that the losses of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation exceeded 190 thousand people. Since the beginning of a full -scale invasion, according to command, occupation troops have also lost 3697 tanks, 7184 combat armored vehicles and more than 2900 artillery systems.
