Wagner PVC in Belarus: Kaczynski announced the strengthening of the border of Poland because of the threat of "hybrid war"

According to Yaroslav Kaczynski, the emergence of "Wagnerians" in Belarus changed the situation - this is a potential danger to Poland. On June 28, Yaroslav Kaczynski, the Prime Minister of Poland, explained that the appearance of eight thousand mercenaries of Wagner PEC in Belarus is a threat to security. Therefore, the Polish-Belarusian border will be further strengthened. Wiadomosci was told about the Polish politician's statement.

Kaczynski participated in the meeting of the Committee of the Council of Ministers on Defense and Security, is said in the material of the publication. During the meeting, the politician recalled that 8,000 Wagnerians arrived in Belarus. From now on, the threat to three countries has increased: it is simply dangerous for Ukraine, and it is potentially dangerous for Poland and Lithuania.

The Prime Minister suggested that one of the threats was a new stage of the "hybrid war", which began after the arrival of mercenaries. And this stage of the war, in his opinion, is more complex. To protect against the threat, Poland will strengthen the border with Belarus, the official said. In his speech, he listed measures that would increase security: Kaczynski suggested that even an attack was possible. "Security policy always provides the worst scenarios," the minister said.

It should be noted that Wagner PECs, who are expected in Belarus, are a consequence of the arrangement of the rebel of Yevgeny Prigogin, the owner of the PEC and the former associate of Vladimir Putin. Prigogine staged a rebellion that lasted two days - from June 24 to June 25, 2023. During this time, the mercenaries who were subordinated to the army of the Russian Federation and headed Lukashenko stated that Prigoine had persuaded Moscow to agree with the Russian authorities.

Therefore, on June 26-27, the tour went to Belarus, planning to take with it part of the Wagner PEC. Prigogine's aircraft arrived in Minsk: it was reported that it was noticed in one of the local hotels. However, there are no official confirmations of the arrival of the Wagnerivtsi at present, but the assumption was published on the preparation of special bases at a distance of 200 km from the Ukrainian border.
