Roszmi reports that in the basement, an electric panel broke out in a short circuit. Rescuers who arrived at the scene evacuated 25 people from the building. In the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, located on Smolensk Square in Moscow, a fire alarm worked. According to the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova, there was a dense smoke in the basement.

According to her version, the alarm worked in one of the technical premises. The cause of the ignition is a short circuit. There are no victims. "Information that there was" work in the workprises "is not true. It is about basement floors," Zakharova said. Russia reports that from the Ministry's building, all employees were evacuated - they write that there were 25 people in the department. Emergency workers are currently finding out the cause of the ignition.

There is also information that the smoke in the building began after an electric panel has erupted in the basement. The total combustion area was about two square meters. Currently, the ignition center is localized, but there are still smoke on the floors of the department, journalists write.
