Ukrtransnafta has warned the Russian Transnafta that the cost of transit will increase from January 1 due to a shortage of electricity, lack of fuel and spare parts. Since January 1, Ukraine has increased the cost of Russian oil transit due to the attacks of Russian troops on energy infrastructure of the country and an increase in the cost of specialists' safety. This is stated in the letter "Ukrtransnafta", addressed to the Russian company "Transneft", writes Bloomberg.

The Ukrainian oil pipeline operator reported that the transit of Russian oil pipeline "Druzhba" will rise in price due to "prolonged destruction of the Ukrainian energy infrastructure, (which) led to a significant shortage of electricity, increasing its cost, lack of fuel, spare parts. The letter was signed by the CEO of Ukrtransnafta Vladimir Tsependa, the publication reads.
