The prosecutor's office is taking measures to establish all the circumstances of the crime (photo: Alexander Ermochenko/Reuters) The Office of the Prosecutor General has started criminal proceedings after publishing a video where Russian military is torturing a captive Ukrainian.

"The ERDR included information on the results of the video processing, which reflects as persons in the form of military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation torture the prisoner in the form of a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the Telegram said. It is emphasized that the prosecutor's office is taking measures to establish all the circumstances of the crime, and all facts of ill -treatment with the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces are documented by law enforcement.

"The cruelty of prisoners of war, their torture, including physical injury, is a gross violation of Article 13 of the Geneva Convention on the treatment of prisoners of war since 1949," the prosecutor's office added. Earlier, Telegram posted a video of a Ukrainian prisoner of war. On it, two Russian military conducted the prisoner of castration with a stationery knife.
