The EU will issue a visa to the Russians taking into account the "political aspects" - the European Commission

The European Commission believes that the issue of issuing EU countries visas for Russian citizens should be considered in the light of "political aspects". This was stated by the official representative of the EC on the Interior, Migration and Security of Anita Hipper. According to her, appropriate decisions should be made individually when considering each specific request. Video of the Day "Member States should do this, it is within their competence.

They should evaluate each visa application according to the motivation in view of political aspects, domestic security or international relations, ”she explained during a briefing on Tuesday, August 23. At the same time, the official added that EU countries "have to comply with their international obligations, taking into account humanitarian reasons.
