For the first stage - the restoration of critical infrastructure and damaged housing of Ukrainians - only 12 billion dollars will be required for the next 12 months. They will be restored in Ukraine, destroyed during the war with Russia, will be in several stages. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal has informed about it in his official telegram channel. According to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, the government has already developed an appropriate strategy.

The first stage involves the immediate restoration of critical infrastructure, hospitals, transport and housing. The work in this direction has already been started. In just a few in the previous months, more than 3,000 objects mentioned above have been restored in Ukraine. According to Shmigal, in 2023 the country will need at least $ 17 billion to restore and reconstruct damaged objects. To support our country, the World Bank has created a special trust fund.

The head of the Ukrainian government also suggested that the required amount would be able to assist in the Union countries: the United States, Germany and the European Union. The second stage is medium -term recovery. The third involves the long -term transformation of the critical and transport infrastructure of Ukraine. They start immediately after the end of the Russo-Ukrainian War.

"We do not want to spend three to four years after the war on the development of long-term transformation concepts, so we work on it now," Smigal explained. We will remind, earlier the mayor of Kiev Vitaliy Klitschko told when residents can return to the affected houses. In one of the restored homes, residents will be able to settle by the end of autumn, and most of the destroyed buildings, according to the mayor of the city, will begin to rebuild in the spring of 2023.
