Lavrov threatened Moldova's war in case of threat to "peacekeepers" of the Russian Federation in Transnistria (video)

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia stated that any actions of Moldova, aimed at undermining the threat of safety of Russian troops, would be regarded as an attack on Russia and mentioned the war in Georgia in 2008. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov threatened Moldova in the event of a threat to the Russian military in the non -controlled Moldavian authorities of Transnistria.

He stated this during a speech at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MDIMV), reports "RIA Novosti". The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation said that in Transnistria there are Russian "peacekeepers" and military people who protect the largest ammunition composition in Europe. Therefore, any actions aimed at undermining the safety of Russian troops will be regarded as an attack on Russia.

"In Moldova, it is necessary to understand that the threats to safety of Russian peacekeepers in Transnistria will be considered as an attack on Russia - as in South Ossetia, when our peacekeepers attacked Saakashvili," he said. We will remind, on August 31 Sergey Lavrov promised to "protect the rights of Russian -speaking" in Moldova. The Russian diplomat recalled that the country already has regions that are "claiming a special status.

" Earlier, in May, the Western media reported that the Kremlin had already decided to attack Moldova. Journalists, citing sources in Ukrainian intelligence, wrote that there are a "number of indicators", which indicates the threat of attack on the country in the near future. And in the case of a successful campaign, troops move to the Black Sea port of Odessa from the west.
