Hungary does not plan to prohibit the issuance of visas for the Russians - the Foreign Minister

Hungary does not plan to prohibit visa visas for Russians or other restrictions. This was reported by the Foreign Minister Peter Siyarto in his Facebook following the results of negotiations with his colleague from Estonia. “They talked about the proposal to strengthen the practice of issuing European visas to Russian citizens. Here we are solidarity with the position of German Chancellor and we do not plan any restrictions, ”he said. Siyarto did not explain the video of his position.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the EU will discuss the ban on the issuance of visas for Russian tourists at the end of August. Countries such as Estonia, Latvia and Finland are urging to introduce a common ban on entry to the Russians due to a full -scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, some have already closed borders for Russian citizens.
