Russia was able to pay a gas transit through Ukraine, despite problems with paying transit for oil - Bloomberg

Russian Gazprom was able to make a payment for gas transit through the territory of Ukraine. The payment of Russia for the transit of natural gas this month was without problems despite the failure for a similar payment transit of oil. Bloomberg writes about it with reference to people who are familiar with the situation. Video of the day last week, the Russian gas monopolist Gazprom sent its regular monthly payment of the Ukrainian NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, and it was accepted.

According to the agency, traders were worried about possible payments after the supply of one of the branches of the oil pipeline was stopped in early August. The problem was solved last week. Recall that at the beginning of last week, Russian Transnafta stated that the supply of Russian oil in transit through the territory of Ukraine by the oil pipeline was stopped from August 4.
